Ferry Concessions for Disabled Motorists

Some valuable concessions have been negotiated by two national charities catering for disabled motorists. These are The Disabled Drivers Association and The Disabled Drivers Motor Club, which have recently been merged into one organisation - 'Mobilise' - representing both sets of members.

The concessions that are offered are available only to full members of the Organisation and in some cases they are available only to disabled people driving a vehicle, and not when the member is a passenger. Rules governing eligibility for and applicability of these concessions vary widely from one company to another, as do the values of the concessions which are offered, and the booking procedures to be followed.

Members of 'Mobilise' may request details of ferry companies offering concessions and of the amounts, conditions, etc.
