Access: No disabled access to office, however outreach service is available.


DHYP provides a user lead service which offers good quality, safe, affordable accommodation and appropriate support to homeless young people aged between 16 and 25, which enables those young people to fulfill their own unique potential.

There are also a drop in cafés, with wheelchair access, for homeless young people (between 16 and 25) at:

Baptist Church
Chequer Road
11.30am to 1.30pm -  offers support, advice and a free meal.

St. Peter in Chains Church Hall
Chequer Road
11.30am to 1.30pm -  offers support, advice and a free meal.


Assertive Outreach Service

Helps young people find suitable affordable housing by assisting with applications etc. Also offer benefits advice, budgeting and dealing with finances, advocacy, access to other services etc.

Floating Support Service

Helps young people who have their own tenancy to maintain that tenancy through practical help and advice. Can assist with budgeting, benefits, life skills, form filling, advocacy, referrals etc.

Supported Lodgings Service

Provides accommodation in a family environment as a stepping-stone to independence with host families in the community.

Young Person's Forum

Open to all young people aged 16 to 25 and is designed to give them a voice to be able to express their opinions on evenmts or how to improve the service.
