DMBC Home Alarm & Telecare Service
The Home Alarm and Telecare Service helps elderly and vulnerable adults live safely in their own home.
The Home Alarm Service links individuals to the Monitor Centre via a telephone line using a push button pendant.
Telecare builds on the basic home alarm service to offer added safety and security in the home. Sensors are used that raise an alarm at the contact centre in the event of an emergency.
A key-holder service is available.
The service includes emergency home visits.
Cost: Service is chargeable, however, if you are aged 65 or over and are in receipt of Housing Benefit or Council Tax Benefit you will receive the service for free. Please contact organisation for current fees if applicable.
Eligibility: Elderly (60 or over) or disabled/vulnerable people.
