Age UK Doncaster is a local charity working with and for older people in the Doncaster community. The charity offers information and advice on a wide range of issues such as:

  • Money Matters.
  • Housing Rights.
  • Health and Social Care.
  • Leisure and Social Activities.
  • Family and Personal Matters.

Services include:


Offering domiciliary care services which includes help with personal care such as washing, dressing, toileting, shopping, day sitting, etc. Contact for current prices.

Cleaning Services

This cleaning service will offer the full range of cleaning tasks for example: vacuuming, washing floors, dusting and polishing, cleaning sinks, basins, baths and toilets. Washing up, cleaning kitchen surfaces, cleaning windows (inside only), Ironing. Minimum service is 2 hours, this can be weekly, fortnightly or monthly.

Day Service

Age UK Doncaster provides a range of day centres to help promote independence and offers the opportunity for people in the community to socialise and participate in a variety of activities. Home and Garden Services

The service provides grass cutting, border tidying, shrubs pruning etc. They offer a free no obligation quote and all work is guaranteed. Contact for current hourly rates.

Home From Hospital

The aim of the Home from Hospital service is prevent re-admission and premature admission to residential care. We can provide you with all the necessary support required to keep you independent and help you regain confidence after your discharge from hospital.

Active in Later Life

Active in Later Life helps people return to an active lifestyle by running and supporting local activity groups for the over 50s. These groups range from Chair-Based Exercise and Falls Prevention classes to Circuit Training and Exercise to Music. We want to show people that exercise doesn't have to be a "sweat session", but also that age isn't a barrier for more intense workouts.

Eat Well and Live Well

This project is designed to identify and support local people at risk of malnutrition and,through a range of nutrition focused sessions, provide them with the knowledge and tools to improve their health and wellbeing.
