The Stirling Centre is a large accessible purpose built Day Care Centre catering for Adults (18+) and Older People with a physical disability, Older People with dementia and Adults with a visual impairment. The Centre provides a varied range of activities including woodwork, craft-work, art, Wii fit, karaoke, bowling, gardening and keep fit and many more to suit all interests. Lunch is provided and there is a choice of meals at a set charge and tea and coffee is available during the day. Special diets are catered for. Assistance is available to meet your care needs from a friendly and helpful trained care team. The Centre is a place where you can make new friends, socialise, try new experiences and where your disability won't be an issue.
The Centre can be hired by individuals, groups or organisations for events in the evening and at weekends.
Eligibility: Adults or older people with a physical disability, visual or cognitive impairment and who are socially isolated or in need of respite care to give carers a break
