Orpheus provides unique opportunities for young disabled adults (18-25) with a passion for performing arts.

Aims: Orpheus promote transition and personal development through performing arts so students gain the skills to live independently in the community and to make informed choices about their futures.


  • Orpheus is an arts facility for young disabled adults. It has a theatre, recording studios, rehearsal space and supported housing.
  • The Centre provides support to help develop independence and life skills for young disabled people (18-25). Places are for 1-3 years, funded through social services.
  • Orpheus offer supported housing and domiciliary services
  • Service users have an individual action plan and pursue personal and artistic goals. Literature available on application to the Centre.

Short Course length ranges from three to seven days - attendance certificates are provided at the completion of the courses.


  • Learning Programme: £70 per day
  • Supported Housing: £550 -£750 PCM
