Pensions Advisory Service
Free help and advice service on state occupational, stakeholder and personal pensions. We help to resolve disputes and complaints about private pension arrangements including workplace, personal and stakeholder pensions.
Aims: To help members of the public who have problems with company pension schemes or personal and stakeholder pension plans. Can also answer general queries on state pensions.
If members of the public have a problem that cannot be solved by their pension company - the pension advisory service can carry out the following:
- Explain people's benefits if they do not understand what they have been told.
- Obtain information from pension schemes or plan if people are not able to obtain what they need.
- Try to make sure that people receive the benefits they are entitled to.
Local Groups: Network of volunteer advisers throughout the country.
