A nationwide charity which offers captioning services, similar to subtitling, to theatres and other arts venues that want to make productions accessible to deaf, deafened and hard of hearing people.
Aims: To provide captions for people who are deaf, deafened and hard of hearing who wish to enjoy theatre performances.
Activities:
- Offering scripted captioning for theatre productions, similar to the subtitles that are available on television programmes.
- Offering real-time speech-to-text transcription (live subtitles) for events in museums, galleries and other arts venues.
