The Disabled Sailing Association
Gives people with a disability the opportunity to enjoy safe and pleasurable experience of sailing.
Aims: To give people with a disability the opportunity to enjoy a safe and pleasurable experience of seagoing sailing, including short local cruising of about two to three hours and, for the more adventurous, longer coastal passages.
- The Disabled Sailing Association currently have Disability Awareness trained volunteer helpers, all with CRB clearance, working with their disabled members enabling people to participate as fully as possible in seagoing, sailing experience.
- We encourage and support more of our members and volunteers to take RYA training to Coastal Skipper standard; several disabled members have already achieved this.
Membership: Please contact the organisation for the current membership costs.
