A consortium of disabled adults, professionals, carers, advocates, parents and voluntary organisations who want the provision of good quality personal support and community care services for young people and adults, whatever their disability.
Aims: To empower disabled young people/adults, their carers, parents and other advocates by joint initiatives including training, education and the dissemination of information.
- Negotiates, lobby's and campaigns for good quality personal support and community care services.
- It is free for professionals, parents and disabled young people to register with TIN. Members receive the quarterly magazine 'My Future Choices', the policy e-newsletter 'Getting a Life' and updates about TINs work and events.
Please note that TIN does not have a helpline and cannot give advice to individuals.
