DIAL The course will raise issues on the way disabled people are treated in everyday life, challenge myths and misconceptions look at the medical model of disability as against the social model. The course will also deal with the interaction with people of different abilities and the common courtesies. It will also give a brief overview of the Disability Discrimination Act. There will also be a “Hands on experience” of the problems disabled people experience when using a wheelchair, or have a sight or hearing impairment. Courses can be "tailor made" to fit your own organisations needs and timeframes. Courses are normally provided on your premises and can be supplied anywhere in South Yorkshire.
