Personalisation is the new initiative that has changed the way that Adult social care and support is provided. It is a different way of working that starts with the individual and puts them at the centre of identifying their needs and making choices about how and when they are supported to live their lives. Personalisation is about giving people much more choice and control over their lives. This means that every person who receives support will be empowered to shape their own lives and the services they receive in all care settings.
