We can now offer a Portable Appliance (PAT) Testing Service within the Doncaster area.

To comply with the 1989 Electricity at Work Regulations, all portable appliances should be routinely checked and tested for safety. The regulations apply to small and large companies/organisations as well as those who are Self Employed. PAT testing is an important part of any Health and Safety Policy.

We have fully competent persons who have successfully completed the Certificate of Technical Competence for the In-House Service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment (PAT Testing).

The testing process involves a visual check of the electrical item for obvious signs of damage and fault. This is followed by a series of checks via a portable appliance for any faults that may not be visible. The PAT tester will then record a pass or fail for the tested item.
