Eligibility: Young people aged 18 and over, with or without a Disability.
Referral: Drop in or Telephone
Toilets: There is a disabled toilet on ground floor.
Access: Good Wheelchair access
Transport: P.H.A.B. Bus, a place maybe available by booking and waiting list.
Cost: £1 per person per visit, first introductory visit free.
Meeting: Friday Evening 6:30pm to 9pm.
Description:
A National Charity dedicated to the integration of people with or without physical disabilities in the Community.
Aims:
- to create opportunities for people with or without disabilities to come together on equal terms.
- to help raise awareness of disability issues and break down barriers of embarrassment and prejudice.
- working to give disabled people greater independence and freedom.
Activities Available:
Board games including chess, draughts, dominoes. Arts and crafts (mainly: cross stitch, tapestry and plastic canvas work). Boccia (similar to indoor bowls). Quizes. There is also a sweet/coffee shop.
