Referral: By Telephone or Letter, from Medical attendant, Carers or Disabled person.
Description:
Design and manufacture unique items or equipment which are not commercially available or make adaptations/alterations to existing equipment, for anyone.
Each referral is usually assed during a home visit by a member of Remap and, where possible, includes the relevant medical attendant or carer.
Business meetings are for REMAP members only as sensitive medical issues are discused.
Will provide a speaker to talk about the work of REMAP to any intersted group. Informative leaflets are available in English, Hindi, Punjabi, Urdu, Chinese and large print english.
Disabled people are visited by a member of REMAP when required.
