Referral: Telephone, personal request via visitor to centre.
Access: Accessible to wheelchairs. Fully accessible toilet and bathroom facility.
Transport: Local bus services, local taxi company.
Cost: Variable.
Description:
The Redmond Centre is a Social Services Community Care Centre situated on the High Street in Carcroft.
It encourages Independence and Social Inclusion by offering a place for local people to set up, develop and run Social Recreational and Educational activities.
Other Agencies provide Day Care Services from the building.
Specialist activities such as Arts, Craft and Literacy.
Benefits Advice and Tribunal Unit offer a local services, Wednesday 2:30 pm - 4:30 pm on a weekly basis.
A Bathing facility is available for use by local residents who have an appropriate need following relevant assessment.
Free use of the Centre and facilities for those who meet the Healthy Communities and Vulnerable People criteria.
