Eligibility: Deaf or Hearing Impaired, aged between 3 and 60
Referral: LEA's, DEA's, any referral agencies. Independent visitors for school/college welcome.
Access: Some areas have wheelchair access.
Transport: Near to buses, station and easy access to all major cities.
Cost: Fees / Costs on application.
Description:
School and College for deaf people; Education, Training and Care for deaf, Hearing impaired people from age 5-60.
Also cater for people with additional difficulties including communication.
On-site Medical and audiology service to publics and students.
School for 3-16 years old, College is for 16+.
Runs a wide range of vocational courses at College in addition to English and Maths at all levels.
Residential Social Worker supports students and runs an Independent Living programme.
