Eligibility: Adult members of the community, disabled persons, professionals.
Referral: by anyone either by telephone or visit to the centre.
Accessibility: Wheelchair access.
Description:
The centre provides learning opportunities to those who haven't been in the learning environment for a long time or who have been 'let down' by the educational system. Many courses are FREE and include: computers, yoga, art, dressmaking, floristry, modern languages and others.
The centre is a LearnDirect centre and is registered to deliver on-line skills for life (basic skills) national tests. The centre also has a day nursery where learners are provided FREE 2 hour session childcare places (charges apply otherwise).
