Description:
The Forward Project is a mentoring service for disabled people aged 14 years and over.
The service was set up to promote independence of disabled people with support through difficult and challenging times in their lives.
If you live or are receiving a service in Doncaster you can apply to the service.
The Development Worker will take you through the simple application procedure.

The Forward Project allows disabled young people and adults to gain:

  • Increased confidence and motivation
  • A positive role model
  • New skills and new learning
  • Improved future prospects
  • Encouragement and support

Training and support - All mentors will receive training and support throughout their time as mentor. There are opportunities for disabled people to be trained as mentors.
