Description:
The Alzheimer's Society is the leading UK care and research charity for people with Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia, their families and carers.
The Doncaster Branch provides:
- Monthly support meetings for carers of people with dementia, held on the third Tuesday of each month at Doncaster Central Library (call Della Bailey tel: 01302 325 628) between 1:30 pm - 3:30 pm.
- Befriending Service - volunteers visit people in the early to middle stages of dementia who live in their own homes.
- Branch Office where many leaflets, booklets and videos are available - people may visit, or information can be sent out free of charge.
- Quarterly Newsletter containing local and national information. No charge, please call office to be added to mailing list.
