Description:
A self help group for people with communication problems following a stroke or head injury, and their carers. The group is informal. There is no therapy. Some members have little or no speech, others have varying degrees of ability. No-one will be turned away. We have speakers occasionally, or just chat amongst ourselves, trips out, even meet sometimes for lunch. Meetings 1st Wednesday of each month, 1:30 till 3:30pm at the Laurels, Thorne Road.
