Doncaster Council is committed to providing a range of good quality Social Care to help people live as independently as possible.
DMBC Emergency telephone 01302 796 000 between 5:00 pm and 8:30 am, with 24hr cover at weekends and bank holidays.

  • Residential Care Homes.
  • Respite Care (Short term residential care).
  • Specialist Rehabilitation.

  • Aids and equipment for daily living.
  • Child protection.
  • Social Work.

    Eligibility: Anyone requiring residential care.
    Referral: Phone, write or visit.
    Description: Where it is no longer appropriate for people to live in their own homes, Neighbourhood, Communities and Children's Services can provide residential care. People are assessed as to the financial contributions they need to make towards the cost of their care. The residential homes also offer the facility for short stay or respite care breaks. There is a charge for this, dependant on income.
