Description:
Doncaster Advocacy works to encourage and support adults who have a learning disability to 'speak out'.
Advocacy is about having information, making choices and being treated as an equal person.
Doncaster Advocacy offers 1 to 1 partnerships, recruiting volunteer advocates and issue-based advocacy.
Self-advocacy groups are supported by advisers.
Doncaster Advocacy campaigns for accessible information for people to have more say in services they receive.
