Description:
The Society provides information about MS and can advise anyone affected by MS.
Members of the Doncaster branch receive a local monthly newsletter and a national magazine every two months.
They have regular social evenings each months, details of which are in the newsletter or can be accessed on the branch website, which can be accessed via the national
website: www.mssociety.org.uk.
They would normally contact people by telephone and have a telephone contact "buddy" scheme to maintain regular contact with members unable to get to social evenings.
Alternative Therapy at The Linney Centre (off Weston Road) on Fridays, between 10:00 am and 3:00 pm, includes Alexander Technique, Aromatherapy Massage, Reflexology and simple exercises.
