Eligibility: Anyone with an interest in Parkinsons Disease, Sufferers, Carers, Relative, Friend or Health or Social Care Professional.
Referral: By Self or someone on their behalf.
Transport: Assistance from other members.
Cost: No cost to attend Branch meetings, Yearly Branch/National Society £5.00 per year.
Description:
Local Branch of National Charity, whose mission statement is to provide help, assistance and support to all persons affected by Parkinson's in the Doncaster area; to provide an informative, interesting and varied programme of meetings and events for its members; to raise sufficient funds to meet our mission; any surplus funds being from time-to-time donated to local or national welfare or research projects.

Services Offered:

  • Branch monthly Newsletter.
  • Quarterly National Magazine.
  • Welfare visiting scheme including home visits.
  • Books, pamphlets, videos, and CD's available.
  • Advice on services available locally.
  • Welfare, employment and benefits advice.
  • Outings and social events.
  • Meetings held on the first Wednesday of each month (excluding December and January) at the Church Hall of St. Peter in Chains church, Chequer Road, Doncaster.
