Description:
Support group for people with Tinnitus and their families.

Aims:
To provide advice, support and information for people with Tinnitus.

Activities:

• Campaigns for stricter control on excessive noise, greater acceptance of severe Tinnitus as a disability, training of GPs and other doctors to put more emphasis on Tinnitus management.
• Provides advice and information to help people avoid or lessen the most common effects of tinnitus.
• Campaigns to raise public awareness of tinnitus, and provide better treatment in the NHS.
• Supports a network of local self-help groups.

Local Groups:
There are a number of nationwide self-help groups, whose activities range from counselling to fundraising and social events.

Membership:
UK annual membership costs £15.00. Overseas £20.00
