Description:
To provide bikes and expertise ideally suited to the needs of cyclists with disabilities.
Hires cycles and cycling equipment for sites nationwide.
Full instructions given on the use of the cycles.
Some Centres are situated on cycle routes, some hire and take away.
Cycles available:
Adult cycles with stabilisers, foot-pedalled tricycles, recumbent trikes,
Easyrider: three wheel chair; the rider powers the front wheel with hand cranks.
Minirider: smaller version of the Easyrider; suitable for children.
Trandem: 3 bikes in 1!, bike/handcrank tandem, and Easyrider, or a cycle with a passenger chair in front.
Side by side 'Wheeleasy' handcycle so two wheelchair users can cycle together.
UK wide advice - plus some occasional longer term hire throughout UK.
