Customers can book assistance in advance to help them get on and off trains, a hand with luggage if you should require it. Whatever you need National Express East Coast staff are available to help and assist you.
Wheelchair space is available in First Class and Standard accommodation with dedicated toilet and washroom facilities also provided on all 255 trains.
For parents with babies and young children, under-fives travel free and National Express East Coast provides onboard baby changing facilities.
Disabled Persons Railcard:
This card, dependent on the disability, entitles the holder and a companion to discounts of up to 1/3 off the First Class and Standard rail fares. People registered as visually impaired and persons remaining in their own wheelchair are entitled to some concessions without a Railcard - please enquire.
Disabled person's railcard application forms can be picked up from travel centres route-wide.
