Aims:

To fight for children's rights and deliver immediate and lasting improvements to children's lives world-wide.

Activities:

Save the children works in the UK and across the world. Emergency relief runs alongside long-term development and prevention work to help children, their families and communities to be self-sufficient. The organisation learns from the reality of children's lives and campaigns for solutions to the problems they face.

They gain expertise through their projects round the world and use that knowledge to educate others. All Save The Children's work is underpinned by their commitment to making a reality of the rights of children, first spelt out by their founders and now enshrined in the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child.
