Description:
Provides grants for a wide range of equipment for children & young people with disabilities, that are not funded through the NHS.

Aims:

• To raise funds to provide grants for special equipment for disabled children and young people.
• To raise awareness for the difficulties faced by young people and their families in accessing special equipment that will raise the quality of their lives.
• To inform of the need for better services and provision for children and young people with disabilities.

Activities:
Children Today give grants for a wide range of equipment which includes: powered, manual and sports wheelchairs, specially adapted tricycles, bicycles, buggies and walking aids, a wide range of communication aids, adapted car seats, educational toys as well as specially designed sensory equipment such as fibre optic sprays.
