Description:
Dyslexia Action is a national charity and the UK's leading provider of services and support for people with dyslexia and literacy difficulties.

Aims:
To offer a comprehensive service of assessment, training and teaching in dyslexia.

Activities:

  • Advice and counselling.
  • Educational Psychologists Assessment.
  • Specialist teaching for all ages.
  • Post-Graduate Diploma Teacher Training Courses validated by Kingston University.
  • Talks by experienced staff.

Cost:
Fees are charged to cover costs of employing highly specialised staff.
A bursary fund exists in extreme cases for those who cannot afford the fees.
