Description:
Centre to help people with dyslexia and learning difficulties.

Aims:

• To maximise educational opportunity and enhance quality of life for dyslexic people of all ages.
• To deliver specialised support to people with dyslexia and their families.

Activities:
The centre pursues the understanding, innovation and application of the most effective methods for the recognition and treatment of dyslexia, and aims to make these available throughout the community.

• Library and resources.
• Computer services.
• Bookshop and mail order.
• Consultations.
• Assessments.
• Specialist tuition and therapy short courses.
• Specialist training to professionals, including OCR coursesSpeech and language therapy.

• Courses for children.
• Bursaries.

The centre also raises funds to make its services available to those in financial need.
