Charity dedicated to supporting individuals and families affected by Neurofibromatosis.
Aims:
- To establish and maintain a network of neurofibromatosis Co-ordinators.
- To provide accessible, up to date information on Neurofibromatosis.
- To fund research into finding a treatment and, ultimately, a cure for the disorder.
Activities:
- Provides help, support and adice to those affected by either form of Neurofibromatosis, their families and the professionals working with them - to do this they employ a team of hospital based professional Neurofibromatosis Specialist Advisors around the UK.
- Provides relevant, up-to-date information on both forms of Neurofibromatosis for professionals, families and individuals.
- Funds research into both types of Neurofibromatosis.
- Provides activity holidays and breaks for children and adults with either form of Neurofibromatosis.
- Telephone helpline Monday and Tuesday 9:00 am - 4:00 pm, Wednesday 9:00 am till 12 noon.
- Neurofibromatosis Co-ordinators: support and offer practical help and advice to those affected and their families.
- Encourage the establishment of local groups and volunteers throughout the UK.
- Raise awareness of the Neurofibromatosises among the general public through fundraising activities.

Membership:
£15.00 Individual, £22.00 family, £30.00 overseas (life membership available on request).
