Support organisation for people affected by Thalassaemia.

Aims:

• To help and support people with thalassaemia.
• To educate people on the problems of thalassaemia.
• To provide relief for those suffering from thalassaemia.

Activities:

• Acts as a self-help group linking together patients, families and well-wishers to exchange ideas and information.
• Promotes and co-ordinates research in connection with thalassaemia.
• Educates people on the problems of the disease by lectures and/or video films.
• Offers counselling to sufferers and carriers.
• Organise "Dinner & Dances", sponsored activities, etc.
• Fund-raising to carry out the above activities.

Membership:
Life membership £100.00, annual membership £10.00
