Description:
Support for people with manic depression and their families and friends.

Aims:

  • To help people with manic depression, their relatives, friends and others who care.
  • To educate the public and caring professionals about manic depression.
  • To encourage research for better methods of treatment for people with manic depression.

Activities:

  • Develops and supports the MDF network of self help groups of which there are currently 150.
  • Provides information, support and specialist literature concerning manic depression.
  • 24 hr Legal Advice Line, Travel Insurance Scheme, Employment Advice, Self Management Training Programme.

Membership:
£18.00 Individual (concession £7.00).
£25.00 Family.
£30.00 overseas.
