Description:
Support organisation for people with cancer and their families.

  • Aims:
    To provide free confidential support services for people living with cancer, their families and carers. They work with cancer self help and support groups and health professionals, to help people with cancer to find emotional and practical support.
  • To help those with cancer to understand what is happening to them and think about what action

Activities:

  • Provides a free national, confidential service for people affected by cancer, health professionals and the general public. Its trained staff and volunteers provide a confidential service giving tailored information and emotional support.
  • Raising funds for specialist Macmillan Nurses and Doctors.
  • Building vitally needed treatment centres.
  • Offering training and resources to cancer self help and support groups and to Health professionals.
  • Providing a range of information locally and nationally.

Over 700 self help and support groups around the UK.
