Description:
Develops and co-ordinates sport for disabled people.

Aims:
To develop, support and encourage people with disabilities to participate in sport.

Activities:

  • Organises and develops a programme of sports events and championships at local, regional and national level.
  • Supports the membership in the provision of sports and recreation for people with disabilities and encourages new membership.
  • Increases awareness of the sporting achievements of people with disabilities with the media and the general public.
  • Acts as an information and advice support service for enquirers concerning all aspects of the provision of sport and recreation for people with disabilities.
