Aims:

• To promote the development and education of children and adults with Down's Syndrome worldwide.

Activities:

• Conducts scientific research into the development difficulties experienced by children and adults with Down's Syndrome and into the ways in which they may be most effectively educated.
• Provides specialist advice and consultancy services to parents and other involved in the care and education of children and adults with Down's Syndrome.
• Supports the publishing of quality advice, information and research findings.
• Promotes effective intervention techniques through training services.
