Description:
Works to foster the development of speech, language and communication skills in all children with a special focus on those who find this hard: children with a communication disability.

Aims:
To create a society where the special needs of children with speech and language impairments are recognised, understood and met, allowing them the same opportunities in life as other children.

Activities:

  • I CAN's UK-wide network of Early Years Centres will povide support for children with disabilities.
  • Provides advice, information and training to professionals together with Early Years settings to enable them to set up services that will help all children develop their communication skills.
