Description:
Offers practical help, friendship and support to those with Rett Syndrome and their families.
Rett Syndrome is a complex neurological disorder that occurs mostly in females resulting in profound and multiple disability.

Aims:
To promote greater understanding of the syndrome amongst professionals, and support parents and carers.

Activities:
Gives help, advice and support to parents, carers, siblings, professionals and anybody involved with a child or adult who has Rett syndrome.
Services include:

• Information to families and professionals.
• Specialist clinics.
• Regional days.
• Family weekend conference.
• Facilitating local support groups throughout the UK.
• Raising funds for research.
• Family Support Workers to advise and support families.
• Development of centres for diagnosis and management.
• Liaison with multi-disciplinary team of experts.

Membership:
£20.00 - Parents, relatives and individuals living in the UK.
£25.00 - Professionals and those living abroad.
