Description:
Provider of group holidays for disabled people and respite for carers.

Aims:

  • To provide holidays for physically disabled children and adults.
  • To provide respite for carers.
  • To build up confidence levels which can lead to greater independence of physically disabled children and adults.

Activities:

  • Organises subsidised group holidays in the UK and abroad for people with physical disabilities of all ages. Full care is provided with volunteer helpers, a leader and a nurse for each holiday.
  • Fundraising events and fundraising advice for volunteer helpers.
  • In addition, when funds available, 3H Fund provides grants to families on low income with a physically or mentally disabled dependent to have a modest UK holiday break.
