Dedicated to help all those living with cancer in Northern Ireland.

Aims:

• To help patients and their families cope with cancer.
• To work for new and better treatments for cancer as well as helping to reduce the risk of developing the disease.

Activities:

• Freephone helpline, including cancer information and details of local facilities.
• Counselling.
• Home and hospital visits.
• support groups for patients with breast, larynx, lymphomas, prostate and ovarian cancers.
• Patient Advice Centre, including advice regarding medical supplies, speech aids and prostheses.
• Specialist clothing and fitting service available by appointment for women with breast cancer.
• Scientific, professional and research activities.
• Patient Forum - Patients campaigning for best possible cancer care.
• Educational Projects.
