Description:
Provider of legal advice for people with disabilities.

Aims:
To help disabled people, and their families or enablers, to get information about their legal rights.

Activities:

  • Legal advice through an advice line currently operating from 10:00am till 1:00pm and 2:00 pm till 5:00 pm Monday to Friday.
  • Representation: where appropriate Disability Law Service solicitors will intervene to represent a disabled person.
  • Initiating legal proceedings where appropriate.
  • Advice on community care, employment, education, consumer/contract, welfare benefits and disability discrimination.

Cost:
All services are free.
