Description:
Asian People's Disability Alliance (APDA) is a non religious and non political self help organisation, setup, managed and run by disabled Asian people themselves
APDA is amembership organisation with members spread over fourteen local authority areas.
APDA provides needs led and user led direct care services, tailored for appropriateness to the needs of asian disabled people and their carers and families. Services are provided four days a week from APDA's fully accessible and purpose built premises at Harlesden in North West London.
Support services are also provided to APDA's clients at home. In addition APDA facilitates Volunteering support to users through its Volunteering Project which, conversly, offers care skills training to the Project's Volunteers.
