Description:
Coordinating body for agencies & staff working in supported employment.

Aims:

• To establish collective action on national supported employment issues.
• To relieve people with learning difficulties and other disabilities in particular by providing or assisting in the provision of support in employment.
• To endorse and promote quality standards in training, support and development.
• To nurture and encourage the setting up of new supported employment services.
• To promote thr training of skills of supported employment throughout the UK and EC.

Activities:

• Provides a regular, detailed information, advisory and development service to association members specifically and people with disabilities in general.
• Liaises and negotiates with national and international governments and non-government organisations and departments.

Local Groups:
BASE represents many agencies throughout the country.

Membership:
£250.00 + VAT Full membership.
£100.00 + VAT Affiliated membership.
