Description:
Teaching stimulation therapy for children with learning difficulties.

Aims:

  • To train parents to allow them to take an active role in their child's development.
  • To teach stimulation therapy to parents of children with learning difficulties.
  • To help maximise the potential of children with sensory, communication, physical and learning difficulties.

Activities:

  • Makes assessments and evaluations and four-monthly reassessments.
  • Provides individual stimulator therapy programmes, teaching parents how to carry out the therapy at home.
  • Offers assessment and teaching programmes for children with specific learning difficulties.
