Description:
Provision of radios to people registered as blind.

Aims:
To ensure that every blind or visually impaired person resident in the UK, over the age of eight and in need, can enjoy the companionship of a reliable radio.

Activities:
Provides a range of equipment on a free permanent loan to registered blind or visually impaired people who are unable to buy their own including:

  • Radios.
  • Stereo radio cassette recorders.
  • CD radio cassette recorders.
  • Personal headphones.

The equipment is maintained, repaired or replaced free of charge as long as the listner needs them.
