Description:
Provides education, care and rehabilitation for the visually impaired.

Aims:
To care for children and adults who have a visual problem, encouraging independence, and motivating people to live as fully as possible.

Activities:

  • Provides residential, nursing, palliative and respite care for elderly people with a visual impairment and others.
  • Daily rehabilitation for adults with a visual problem.
  • Education for blind and partially sighted children.
  • St. Vincents School, West Derby, Liverpool 12. The aim of the school is to provide an all round education adapted to the needs of the blind or partially sighted pupil which will allow them to function as independent, well adjusted, caring people in the adult world. St. Vincent's is a catholic school which has close liaison with other denominations to ensure that children are given full support and encouragement to practice their own faith.
  • Christopher Grange (Youens Way) is a purpose built home dedicated to the needs of the elderly, and visually impaired people. The highly committed and experienced staff offer the highest standard of nursing, redidential and respite care in a relaxed and homely atmosphere.
