Description:
Free helpline for children in danger or distress.

Aims:

  • To help young people in danger and distress.
  • To bring to public attention the issues affecting children's welfare and rights.

Activities:

  • Confidential phone counselling service 24hrs a day, every day for any child with any problem, which listens, comforts and protects.
  • Trained counsellors provide support and advice, and refer children in danger to appropriate helping agencies.
  • "The Line" - a special helpline for children living away from home. Open 3:30 pm till 9:30 pm Monday to Friday, 2:00 pm till 8:00 pm Weekends.
  • Minicom service open 9:30 am till 9:30 pm Monday to Friday, 9:30 am till 8:00 pm on Weekends.
