Description:
Provides tactile diagrams, maps and pictures for blind and partially sighted people of all ages and all walks of life.

Aims:
To provide tactile diagrams, maps and pictures allow access to visual graphical information for blind and partially sighted people, and greatly enhance their independence in education, work and leisure.

Activities:

• The design and production of tactile diagrams, maps and pictures (tactile graphics) in a variety of formats with supporting explanatory materials.
• Training for blind and partially sighted people and those working with them.
• Consultancy to businesses and organisations in meeting the needs of blind and partially sighted employees, consumers and customers.
• Evaluation and research in the area of tactile graphics.
